Redmi Smart TV Remote is an infrared and WiFi-powered remote for Redmi Smart Android TVs. It is designed to work across all Redmi/Mi smart TVs/TV boxes. The remote connects with the TV via infrared or WiFi, depending on the device's capabilities.

If your device supports infrared blaster, the remote will connect automatically without any action. You won't need any Bluetooth/WiFi in that case. However, if your device doesn't support infrared blaster, the remote will try to discover any Mi TV/TV Box in the same WiFi network and will connect to it if found.

One drawback of the Redmi Smart TV Remote is that it doesn't support voice control. However, the developer has announced that voice support over WiFi is currently in progress and will be enabled soon.

Overall, the Redmi Smart TV Remote is a useful tool for anyone with a Redmi/Mi smart TV or TV box who wants a simple and easy-to-use remote control.
